A new home is often assessed once it is finished. Your first year bill can be based on the lot only. Ask the builder and the Wayne tax assessor what the full assessment will be. Wayne's 2025 rate was 5.998 per $100 (NJ Taxation).

- Getting around. Two NJ Transit train stations (Mountain View and the Route 23 Transit Center), plus Routes 23, 46, 202 and Interstate 80.
